To overprint with a laser printer once litho printed use laser compatible inks and leave for a period of at least 5 days before laser or copier printing.
Re-seal in polythene bags and protect from damage.
NB It is not advisable to pre-print by colour laser and subsequently overprint by mono laser or copier.
The higher fusing temperature in mono lasers is likely to soften and smudge the original colour print.
For pre printed fixed information it is advisable to print litho.
Familiar label formats found in most word procesing packages and now a choice of materials normally only found in commercial print houses.
High quality materials enable you to produce a professional looking label straight from your computer. Try a clear polyester for that 'no label' look or why not use a fluorescent colour as a warning label. With over 30 different material types; including colours, fluorescents, synethetics and adhesives for specific end uses, you can purchase a minimum 100 sheets for any standard size/material combination.
Set Media Type (in the printer Properties option) as Heavy or Extra Heavy for the optimum print results.
The 'heavy weight' base materials we use give the sheets tremendous stability for laser printing coupled with superb print results. Some materials are also ink jet printable |

High Speed laser print
Stable, high quality materials are required when high speed laser printing. Many 'commodity' label ranges are unsuitable for high speed printing due to the choice of light weight materials to reduce cost. How much does a paper jam in the middle of a 'personalised' print run cost? Choose high quality labels designed for high speed hot fusing processes like PCL™, PCL3 Digital® and Digital Office.

Specifically designed for maximum stability and simplicity of use, the PCL3 Digital® format is based on the highly versatile and successful PCL™ (A4) format. Two A4 panels of labels are positioned on an SRA3 sheet with extra grip edges all round and a central gutter between. To help with positioning for guillotining for final presentation, crop marks are cut into the label surface to mark the position of the A4 sheet edges

Do NOT overbend the sheets as this may loosen labels.
Cut less that 100 sheets per stack ensuring the blade is clean and sharp.
The easiest way to get air into a stack of polyester sheets is to do the Polyester Flip!
