PCL™ the patented multi process label format
The only truly universal A4 label range for litho, laser or copier printing (or all 3!). Based on an A4 sheet and regardless of label size, all with a simple, common and patented format.
Template files to download and use in graphics based programes e.g. Pagemaker™, Quark Express™, Corel DRAW™. Setup in Word (or similar) to add information to pre (litho) printed labels or design and print your own. PCL™ Labels are manufactured from the highest quality laser grade materials. The unique PCL™ format allows professional printing of jobs, including those requiring bleed, on the smallest or the most sophisticated digital (laser/copier) printers. The extra wide grip edge allows trouble free feeding of even the smallest label sizes on the highest speed printers.
The unique, patented layout provides an exceptionally stable sheet making multiple process printing easy.
Specifically designed to incorporate the capability of printing fixed information by litho, with variable information overprinting by laser or copier (some materials are also ink jet printable) PCL labels can be used with total confidence.
NB Remember when multiple proces printing: if Laser printing twice - make sure mono (black) is printed before any colour laser printing (as mono machines fuse at higher temperatures than colour printers thus avoiding any toner reactivation).
New updated range - with over 30 standard materials to choose from; white coated and uncoated papers, colours, fluorescents, gold, silver, synthetics and various adhesive types you can mix and match most materials and formats to give over 5000 label options.

Arrows are cut into the sheet to show the 13mm grip edges. All PCL™ labels are formatted in the same way, with 13mm grip edges top and left when the sheet is viewed in Portrait.
Extra low tack inks and a hard blanket should be used when litho printing die cut labels. Use laser stable inks when pre printing litho for later overprinting by laser or copier.
Equally at home in the office environment PCL™ Labels provide the office user with access to circles, squares, rectangles, ovals and media labels not normally available outside the commercial printing trade.

All sizes in the PCL™ range are suitable for full ‘bleed’ litho
production and now even more label sizes are available for
digital printing of images requiring a ‘bleed’ over the edges of the
labels.
PCL™ Labels is the only truly universal A4 label range that can
be printed by litho, laser or copier (’digital’) methods or a
combination of all 3 (e.g. pre print fixed information litho and
overprint variable digitally).
The new format of the label listing table shows at a glance
which sizes have sufficient margin on the back and bottom
edges of the sheet to allow for a full digital bleed with an
alternative size shown where necessary.

Now available in full sheets or die cut labels in our PCL™, Digital Office and PCL3 Digital® ranges this excellent synthetic material can be printed by litho, laser or HP Indigo processes. The marine grade adhesive is approved under BS5609 specification for hazardous drum labelling and makes the material a natural choice for harsh environments where durability and waterproofness are required.
Available as full sheets or die cut labels in our PCL™, Digital Office and SRA3 ranges. Printable by litho (using fully oxidising inks) laser and copier the excellent permanent adhesive makes the product ideal for harsh environments.
